Before the start of the project, the five partners have already developed energy saving measures – called ‘quick wins’ – that are easy to achieve in the short term without large investments. By sharing results and exchanging know-how, each partner will understand the other partners’ energy saving actions. This will result in new good practices that can be implemented in each partner’s own local context.
First phase | Comparing energy saving measures
In this phase all partners will share and compare their individual energy saving actions and their results. By learning from one another, the partners will be able to improve their own individual actions. This will enable them to adapt the ‘quick wins’ to their own local context. The five partners will also join forces to identify totally new potential ‘quick wins’, not based on existing energy saving measures.
Second phase | Implementing ‘quick wins’
The partners will take advantage from the good experiences of the others. By using their techniques and methods they can improve the results of their own actions. This will lead to the implementation of ‘quick wins’ such as training, mobilising employees to change their behaviour towards energy saving and small investments like eco-drive, energy challenges between depots, workshops.
