The five Ticket to Kyoto public transport companies have mobilised themselves to achieve so called ‘quick wins’. These are measures that reduce CO2 emissions in the short term and without large investments.
Overview in first report
Since the start of the project, several quick wins have already been successfully implemented and this in different domains of energy collection. These quick wins will be clarified in our soon to be published ‘First Report on Quick Wins’.

Saving energy isn’t always difficult. Sometimes it’s just a matter of having eye for small details. Not leaving the lights on. Closing the doors in heated rooms ... moBiel has put a lot of ‘energy’ in the creation of a brochure with tips that make the employees aware of ways to behave more energy friendly at work.
2200 brochures
moBiel distributed the brochures to all 2200 employees of the Stadtwerke Bielefeld Group, their mother group. The brochures give information on how to save energy in the office and on the workplace and by sensitizing their own personnel, the company wants to turn these simple energy saving gestures into automatic behaviour on the job and at home.
